Carl N. Walden Sr., 45, of Roscoe, formerly of Washington, died unexpectedly Friday November 3, 2017.

He was born November 15, 1971, in Washington, a son of the late Paul Johnson and Hannah Walden.

Mr. Walden enjoyed music and spending time with his children. He was very charismatic and enjoyed socializing with friends and family. He was always the life of the party and was always on the go.

Surviving are his girlfriend, Marie Marshman Walden, with whom he made his home; five children, Nathaniel Marshman, Shea’brianna Hall, Ca’Mari Walden, Car’Liyah Walden and Carl N. Walden II; two maternal brothers, Lawrence D. Walden of Washington and Paul W. Walden of Masontown; a maternal sister, Tawanda Jones of Texas; three paternal brothers, Paul Johnson, Mark Johnson and Corey Johnson; a paternal sister, Tracey Johnson Howard; many other siblings; and many other extended family members.

Deceased are three children who died during infancy and a son, Trevor Cordell Vaden.

Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m., the time of service, Tuesday, November 14, in Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home, 1290 Jefferson Avenue, Washington, with the Rev. Robert Marshman officiating. Cremation services will be held at a later date.
