Carl William Bove
Carl William Bove, 76, of McDonald, died Thursday, November 9, 2017, in Donnell House, Washington.
He was born November 27, 1940, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Carl Frank and Nancy Lee Underwood Bove.
Mr. Bove was a 1958 graduate of Connelley Vocational School. He earned an associate’s degree in heating, ventilation and air conditioning from Penn Commercial.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Mr. Bove worked as an industrial electrician in the steel industry.
He was a member of American Legion Post 485, McDonald, and Muse Italian Club.
Mr. Bove enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and playing cards.
On March 14, 1964, he married Sylvia Maryann Demsher, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Denise Marie (Michael) Reed of Oakdale, Debra Ann (Brian) Krenzelak of Burgettstown and Kimberly Ann (Hank) McCarty of Canonsburg; a sister, Judith (Edward) Egan of Irwin; seven grandchildren, Jacquelyn (Brian) Chastain, Dana (Christopher) Siwek, Melissa (Shawn) McMillen, Brittani (Matthew) Spencer, Matthew McCarthy, Kristine (Miles) Messmer and Katie McCarthy; and three great-grandchildren, Colton and Rylee Gee and Christian Siwek.
Deceased is a sister, Renee Lackey.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 East Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, where a blessing service will be held at 12:45 p.m. Monday, November 13, with the Rev. Ben Vaghetto, pastor of St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
