Robert W. Culley, 86, of Carnegie, formerly of Washington, died Saturday, November 11, 2017, in Washington Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
He was born July 4, 1931, in Washington, a son of the late Robert H. and Elizabeth Reynolds Culley.
Mr. Culley worked for over 30 years as a professor of art at Kent State University. He was an artist himself, who enjoyed painting. He loved to golf.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife, JoAnn Culley of Carnegie; a son, R. Joseph (Michelle) Culley of Kent, Ohio; a daughter, Sage Anne Culley of Kent; a sister, Joelle Caffrey of Washington; three grandchildren, Maya, Aliyah and Liam Culley; and several nieces and nephews.
