Ruby Darling Wise Casseday, 76, of Greensboro, died on her birthday, Sunday, November 12, 2017.
She was born November 12, 1941, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Burns Wesley and Goldie Thelma Wise.
Surviving are her husband, Blaine A. Casseday; three sons, Raymond Casseday of Carmichaels, Damon Casseday of Greensboro and Sonny Casseday of Seabeck, Wash.; a daughter, Hope Black (David) of Greensboro; a brother, David Wise of Greensboro; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a beloved aunt, Sylvia Carter.
Deceased are a brother, William Burns Wise; and a sister, Sylvia Loueva Wise.
Mrs. Casseday operated a beauty shop in Greensboro for many years.
She was a member of Greene Valley Presbyterian Church and Greensboro Baptist Church. She was a former member of Dunkard Grange.
Mrs. Casseday loved crochet and singing karaoke at Two Rivers in Dilliner.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 1 to 2 p.m., the time of services, Thursday, November 16, in Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, with the Rev. H.O. Kelley officiating.
