Dennis R. Revella, 81, of Washington, died Wednesday, November 15, 2017, in Donnell House, following a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
He was born April 18, 1936, in Washington, a son of the late Anthony and Mildred Miller Revella.
Mr. Revella graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in 1954.
He was employed at U.S. Steel in Homestead as a millwright for over 30 years, until his retirement.
Mr. Revella served in the U.S. Army National Guard and was formerly a member of the Eagles and Alpine Club.
On May 18, 1957, he married Betty Alice Barrows of Washington, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Dennis R. Revella Jr. of Holiday, Fla.; two daughters, Barbara Jo (Ralph) Clemens of Amity and Elizabeth Ann Bennett-Stasko of Washington; a brother, Stephen (Janet) Revella of Washington; and three grandchildren, Ralph Clemens Jr., Michelle Bennett-Yandel and Ashley Revella. Ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren also survive.
In addition to his mother and father, deceased are a brother, Gary Revella and a granddaughter, Amanda Bennett.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 17, in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Avenue, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
