Genevieve DiNino
Genevieve DiNino, 84, of Burgettstown, died Wednesday, November 15, 2017.
She was born April 25, 1933, in Carnegie, a daughter of the late Victor and Anna Ginosky.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. DiNino was employed by Marriott Corp. at Pittsburgh Airport and later by Uni-Mart in Burgettstown.
She was a member of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, Bulger.
Mrs. DiNino enjoyed baking, going to the casino and spoiling her grandkids.
Surviving are a son, Edward “Whip” DiNino of Burgettstown; a daughter, Carol “Kay” Nyholm of Ridgecrest, Calif.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and special niece and nephew Sandy and Chuck Cook and special niece Gerri Marzarella.
Deceased are her husband, William DiNino; a son, William V. DiNino; three brothers, Chester, Charles and Zigmund Ginosky; and two sisters, Stella Rakoczy and Helen Cook Wasik.
Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday in Taucher Funeral Home, 23 Erie Mine Road, Burgettstown, where a blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 20, with the Rev. Bob Staszewski officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Burgettstown.
