Kevin Robert Ledbetter, 30, of Washington, died unexpectedly Sunday, November 19, 2017, in Washington Hospital.
He was born August 3, 1987, in Beaver, a son of George R. and Janetta V. “Nettie” Crawford Ledbetter of Washington.
Mr. Ledbetter was Baptist and enjoyed detailing cars. He had a love of music and enjoyed playing sports in his younger years. Mr. Ledbetter was so full of life and had the ability to light up a room when he walked in. He was an uplifting, free-spirited man that many people were drawn to. Mr. Ledbetter had a heart of gold and he would do anything for anyone that needed him. He had the ability to make people laugh when they were down or upset.
Mr. Ledbetter loved his family to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with all of them, especially his daughter and his nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by the many friends and family members whose lives he touched.
Surviving, in addition to his mother and father, are a daughter, Kendra Ledbetter of Washington; two brothers, Freddie “Mike” Kimbrew of Washington and James (Ramona Farr) Gilbert of Aliquippa; and four sisters, Lakeysha (Laron Jackson) Gilbert of Washington, Marquita (Mark Ford) Kimbrew of Washington, Georgetta (Carl) Jones of Washington and Shannon (Bruce Anderson) Morgan of San Antonio, Texas. A host of loving family members also survive.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the hour of a funeral service, Saturday, November 25, in The Bible Chapel, 34 West Wheeling Street, Washington. The Rev. James Crawford will officiate. Burial will be private.
