Bess R. Deitz, 96, of Washington, formerly of Crafton, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 16, 2017.
She was the beloved wife of the late Gene Deitz; loving mother of Peggy (Daniel) Barry, William (Jennifer) Deitz and Beth (Larry Jr.) Simpson; cherished grandmother of Michael, William (Yanawan), Matthew (Maureen), Andrew, Melanie, Lauren, Megan and Rae Lynn and six great-grandchildren; and dear sister of Mary Nan Cox. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Deceased are six siblings.
Mrs. Deitz loved traveling, theater and music. In her youth, she danced professionally and was a dance instructor.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 16, in Hillsview Chapel, 825 South Main Street, Washington, PA 15301. Arrangements are entrusted to Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.
