Margaret W. Fowkes, 96, of Washington, died Monday, November 20, 2017, in her home.
She was born December 6, 1920, in East Brady, a daughter of the late Harvey Willison and Margaret Innes Willison.
Mrs. Fowkes was a former member of Church of the Covenant, Washington.
She loved her pets, crossword puzzles and her grandchildren.
On June 7, 1946, she married John Harold Fowkes, who died in 1974.
Surviving are four daughters, Margaret L. Fowkes of North Huntington, Patricia L. (Donald) Stanczak of Plum Borough, Barbara Ann Fowkes of Claysville and Terry J. (Frederick) Hutson of Washington; six grandchildren, Dawn (Curt Holes) Stanczak, Jaime (Heather) Bousman-Stanczak, Kristin (Josh) Kaitz, Matthew (Jennifer) Hutson, Jason (Valerie) Hutson and Scott Graham; three great-grandchildren, Grayson and Quinn Bousman-Stanczak and Landon Hutson; a son, John Harvey (Elizabeth) Fowkes of Morgantown, W.Va.; and several additional grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Sarah Fowkes.
