Mark A “Seymore” Johnson, 57, of Scenery Hill, died unexpectedly Saturday, November 4, 2017.
He was born June 10, 1960, a son of the late Arletta “Sis” Wise and Glenn W. Johnson.
Mr. Johnson attended Bentworth High School. He was a self-employed carpenter and remodeler.
He loved NASCAR. He had a sense of humor and enjoyed life. He brought happiness to everyone he met and treated everyone as his friend.
Surviving are three sons, David W. Johnson, Brandon L. Johnson and Trevor Johnson, all of Navarre, Fla.; three grandchildren; and a brother, Jon W. (Bonnie) Johnson of Washington.
Friends and family are asked to attend a celebration of Mr. Johnson’s life, which will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, December 3, in Tradesmen’s Inn, Scenery Hill. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Hickory.
Arrangements are under the direction of Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington.
