Thomas J. “TJ” Fisher, 40, of Beallsville, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017, following a yearlong battle with cancer.

He was born August 5, 1977, in Athens, Ohio, a son of the late Odell and Susan Cline Fisher.

Mr. Fisher was a 1996 graduate of Fort Cherry High School.

He was employed as a welder by Caterpillar/Cleudand Bros. DBT Houston, PA for 14 years.

Mr. Fisher enjoyed fishing, bow hunting and spending time with his family and friends.

On October 26, 2007, he married Amanda Caldwell Fisher, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Mikalie Fisher of Carnegie; a son, Seth Fisher of Beallsville; five brothers, Mike Fisher (Ethel) of Washington, John Fisher of West Virginia, and James Brown, Travis Brown, Sam Pastol all of Ohio; three sisters, Connie Mitchem (Bill), Gail Fisher and Melissa Taylor, all of West Virginia; a niece, Marissa Hanning of Washington; and a nephew, Bryan Hanning of Beallsville.

Deceased, in addition to his parents, is a brother, Chuck Fisher.

A memorial gathering will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville.
