Raymond A. Koronowski, 69, of Canonsburg, formerly of Washington, died Saturday, November 25, 2017, in The Greenery Center, North Strabane Township.
He was born May 12, 1948, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Sylvester Koronowski and Violet Polgar Koronowski.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Marksmanship Rifle Badge.
He worked as a dispatcher for Bob Smith Ford for 9 years.
He was a member of American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post 175, was very active in Alcoholics Anonymous and was 25 years’ sober.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia (Michael Anesetti) Williams of Canonsburg; brother Kenneth (Susan) Koronowski of Hollidaysburg; two grandchildren, Dasia Williams and James Blankinsop; and two great-grandchildren, Madyson Blankinsop and James Lee Blankinsop Jr.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, is a brother, John Koronowski.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 30. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Gardens.
