Ronald “Stink” Shriver, 67, of Claysville, died suddenly Tuesday, November 28, 2017, in Washington Hospital.
He was born May 24, 1950, in Washington, a son of the late Beryl and Margaret Shriver.
Also deceased is a sister, Barbara Ford.
Mr. Shriver was a 1968 graduate of McGuffey High School.
He was an Iron Worker Local 3, and had served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Mr. Shriver was an avid trapper and dog lover.
Surviving are his companion, Karen Plunkett of Avella; brothers Thomas Shriver of Indiana, Daniel Shriver (Goldie) of Valley Grove and Paul “Bos” Shriver (HP) of Taylorstown; a sister, Susanna Shriver of Valley Grove; and many nieces and nephews.
He leaves behind his dog, Taz.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 219 Main Street, Claysville, PA 15323, www.youngfhinc.com, where the family will gather at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 2, to proceed to West Alexander Cemetery for graveside services.
