Wallace Franklin “Wally” McCartney, 59, loving husband of Evelyn Rummo McCartney of Echo Ridge Drive, Duncan, S.C., died Tuesday, November 28, 2017, in his residence.
Born May 2, 1958, in Washington, he was a son of the late Charles McCartney and Emma Diamond McCartney.
Mr. McCartney was an employee with Elgin-Williamson Auto Repair in Greenville, S.C.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Steven McCartney of Greenville; daughter Megan McCartney of Dallas, Texas; sisters Stella Malloy and Emma Newman, both of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, deceased are brothers Lawrence and Charles McCartney and sister Linda Sullivan.
The McCartney family will greet relatives and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Harris-Nadeau Mortuary, Chesnee, S.C., where services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 1, with the Rev. Edgardo Enverga, CRM officiating.
