Eva Kolat, 93, of Clarksville, died peacefully Sunday, October 22, 2017, in her home.
She was born January 4, 1924, in LaBelle, a daughter of the late Mike and Eva Wozny Andrusky.
Mrs. Kolat was a homemaker. She lived most of her life in Clarksville, where she was a member of St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church.
She enjoyed cooking, gardening and especially her grandchildren, whom she helped raise.
On August 10, 1946, she married Joseph M. Kolat, who died July 13, 1990.
Surviving are seven children, Joe (Judy) Kolat of Rices Landing, Rose (Bill) Efaw of Waynesburg, Eva Kolat of Greensboro, Dorothy Matiysic of Carmichaels, Mary Kay Kolat of Carmichaels, Kathy (Chris) Watson of Carmichaels and Barbara McCollum of Clarksville, with whom she made her home for the last 27 years; 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Deceased are a grandson, Jason Kolat, and 11 siblings.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where a blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, October 27. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Marcellus Roman Catholic Church, 1340 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344, with Father J. Francis Frazer officiating. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Township. A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
