Juliann Zmuda, 85, of Richeyville, passed away Friday, October 20, 2017, in her home.
She was born February 20, 1932, Brownsville, a daughter of the late John and Anna Vgorcak Zaharsky.
Mrs. Zmuda was a graduate of Brownsville High School.
In 1992, she retired from Frank Rico Bus Lines in Brownsville, where she drove a school bus for 15 years. She also spent many years as the caretaker of her parents.
She was a longtime member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish, Richeyville campus, where she was a member of the Ladies Guild.
Time spent traveling with her husband and time spent with her grandchildren were very special to her.
On June 23, 1956, she married Joseph R. Zmuda, who survives. They celebrated 61 years of marriage.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Judith A. Tiberie of New York; three grandchildren, Shaun M. Tiberie, Shana Hardy and Shane Tiberie; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Ronald Zaharsky of Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are a son, Jerome “Jerry” Zmuda, who died June 26, 2016, and three brothers, Eugene, Michael and John A. Zaharsky.
Family and friends are invited to attend a service at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 26, in Chapel of LaFayette Memorial Park, 132 Twin Hills Road, Brier Hill, PA 15415.
