Inez Sue Moore, 82, of Washington, died Sunday, October 22, 2017, in her home.
She was born May 28, 1935, in Washington, a daughter of the late Floyd and Olive Phillips Poland.
Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and worked for PennDOT.
She enjoyed yard sales and collecting baby dolls and antique clocks.
On January 27, 1951, she married Alan “Jim” Moore, who went to be with his Lord January 14, 1996, following 45 years of marriage.
She enjoyed the remaining years of her life in a loving relationship with Pete Roupe, with whom she shared a home.
Surviving, in addition to her longtime companion, Pete Roupe, are five children, Jim (Dot) Moore of Houston, Brenda (Harry) Phillips of Valley Grove, W.Va., Cindy (Bob) McElwee of Rockmart, Ga., Lisa (Kevin) Miller of Tennessee and Floyd (Denise) Moore of Buffalo Township, Houston; a brother, Rich Poland of Washington; 11 grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She was loved very much by Pete’s children and grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, Don, Bob and Tom Poland.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in William G. Neal Funeral Home Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 26, with Pastor Sue Petritis officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
