Henry John “Pete” Cooper Martin, 82, of Weirton, W.Va., formerly of Langeloth, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017.
He was born August 20, 1935, in Uniontown, a son of the late William and Mary Martin.
Mr. Martin proudly served as a U.S. Navy “frogman” for over seven years during the Korean War.
He was a welder by trade.
Mr. Martin was a happy-go-lucky character and could be found mostly on the golf course.
Surviving are his longtime companion, Pat Mendak of Langeloth; four children; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Deceased are 10 siblings.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation. Other arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the care of Taucher Funeral Home, Burgettstown.
