Shirley Louise June Dailey, 81, of Carmichaels, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
She was born April 9, 1936, in Washington, a daughter of Frances Gertrude Rutan and Clarence Vernon Anderson.
Mrs. Dailey was a homemaker and resided most of her life in Greene County.
She enjoyed helping others. She volunteered at the second-hand store in Mt. Morris and at the Covered Bridge Festival in Garards Fort. She enjoyed traveling with her family.
Surviving are two brothers, Ronnie Anderson of Washington state and Sylvester “Doug” Anderson (Lois) of Texas; four sisters, Sue Morris, Jean Morris, Viola Fordyce and Luella Redman, all of Waynesburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are three sisters, Opal Henderson, Lucille Fox and Betty Anderson, and three brothers, Vernon Slater “Joe” Anderson Sr., Larry “Jack” Anderson and Duane Anderson.
Private interment will be held in Claughton Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High Street, Waynesburg.
