Rose G. Irwin, 82, of Scenery Hill, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017, in her home, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born April 11, 1935, in McDonald, a daughter of Adam and Mary Stasiak Guter, who preceded her in death.
Ms. Irwin was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Canonsburg, where she was a member of its Christian Mothers and Women’s Guild and did a great deal of volunteer work to support her parish.
She was a country western singer, who was a member of the country band Rosemarie and the Rhythm Ranch Boys, and traveled the area extensively in the 1970s.
Ms. Irwin is survived by sons Deno Partozoti (Sharon) of Washington, Dana Partozoti of Washington and Darrell Partozoti of Colorado; brother Theodore Guter (Pat); sister Mary Hart (Mike) of McDonald; grandson Derek A. Partozoti; and former husband Robert Irwin of Eighty Four.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and Stanley Guter, and sisters Julie Latinie, Dolly Endler, Helen Fisher, Josephine Vucharo and sister Shirley Ann Guter, who died in infancy.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, November 3. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
