Beverly K. Poland Haines, 61, of Waynesburg, died at 10:25 a.m. Sunday, April 1, in the home of her sister-in-law, Donna.

She was born Saturday, June 9, 1956, in Washington, a daughter of the late William Henry Poland and Clara Russell Poland.

Mrs. Haines was Nazarene. When she lived in Myrtle Beach, S.C., she enjoyed walking on the beach looking for shark teeth and margaritas. She worked as a certified nursing assistant. She also worked as a receptionist at Super 8 Motel. She dedicated her life to caring for others.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Paul Haines, whom she married November 10, 1984.

Also surviving are three daughters, Angel Kirby-Willard and husband Wayne of Mt. Morris, Megan Ann Haines of Waynesburg and Jennifer C. Maxwell and husband Cole of Belle Vernon; son Robert Paul Haines Jr. and wife Amanda of Uniontown; seven grandchildren, Tyler King, Hayden Haines, Nickolas and Noah Willard, and Bella, Colten and Noella Haines; two sisters, Alice Hennen and husband Harold of Waynesburg and Lou Kirby and companion Sam of Waynesburg; brother Henry Poland and wife Flo of Phoenix, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased is a brother, Samuel Poland.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Milliken and Throckmorton F.H. Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, 197 North Maiden Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370. There will be additional visitation from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of service, Thursday, April 5, in First Church of the Nazarene, 115 Deerfield Lane, Waynesburg, PA 15370, with Pastor Sherman Goodwin officiating. Private burial will be held in Fairview Cemetery, Graysville. The family asks, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the funeral home to help with cost.
