Florence Patricia Popeck, 78, of Pittsburgh, died Sunday, April 1, 2018, in The Grove at New Castle.

She was born July 20, 1939, in Washington, a daughter of the late Thomas and Estelle Popeck.

Patty graduated from Washington High School in 1957.

Patty, or Trish as many friends knew her, leaves behind many loving friends and relatives. She was a big-hearted, loving person who never knew a stranger. She held many positions in her career, working for the county at one point. She retired as an award-winning employee from the Hyatt Regency chain in the Pittsburgh area, where she filled many positions.

She loved her Pittsburgh Steelers and couldn’t wait for the season to begin. She followed the team every season and shared her comments, joys and thoughts with many. She enjoyed feeding the birds that visited her back patio.
