Marion L. Kopelchak Berchin, 88, of Scenery Hill, entered into eternal peace Monday, April 2, 2018, in Monongahela Valley Hospital.

She was born April 4, 1929, a daughter of the late Steve and Mary Smollar Kopelchak.

She married Andrew J. Berchin, and they shared a wonderful life together until his passing March 21, 1990.

Marion was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish and Bentworth Senior Citizens in Bentleyville. She loved her family and traveling.

Surviving are her son, Andy “Butch” Berchin and fiancée Judy Skerbetz; grandson Andy D. Berchin and wife Heather and their daughter Makenna; grandson Michael Berchin and wife Jonee; and brother Harry S. Kopelchak and wife Betty.

After the death of her husband, she devoted her life to her family, especially her two grandsons and great-granddaughter.

Deceased are her brother, Steve Kopelchak, and sisters Pauline and Esther Kopelchak.

Friends are welcome from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a prayer service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 6, followed at 10:30 a.m. by a Mass of Christian burial in Saint Katharine Drexel, Bentleyville Campus, 126 Church Street, Bentleyville, with the Rev. Jeremy J. Mohler, parochial vicar, as celebrant. Interment will follow in Scenery Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Katharine Drexel Parish.
