Carole C. Doak, 77, of Washington, died Tuesday, April 3, 2018, in Washington Hospital.

She was born November 16, 1940, in Washington, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chambers.

Carole graduated from Washington High School and retired from Jessop Credit Union. She also worked as a real estate agent. She owned and rented out several homes.

She was a member of Avery United Methodist Church.

Carole loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and retired early to take care of her granddaughter and continued to take care of her great-grandchildren.

She married Kenneth Doak, who is deceased.

Surviving are a granddaughter, Morgan A. Doak of Washington; two great-grandchildren, Zaiden and Alexa; a daughter-in-law, Susan Doak of Washington.

Deceased are a son, Kevin L. Doak and a daughter, Kimberly Nelson.

All services are private. Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
