Eleanor Lilley Slesh, 92, of Eighty Four, North Bethlehem Township, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018, in South Hills Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, Canonsburg.

She was born August 31, 1925, in Cokeburg, a daughter of the late John and Anna Beveridge Lilley.

Mrs. Slesh was a graduate of Bentleyville-Ellsworth High School.

She was employed as a cook at Century Inn and Bentleyville Truck Stop for many years.

Eleanor was a lifelong member of Cokeburg Presbyterian Church and the Ladies Aide Society of the church. She was also a member of Bentworth Senior Citizens and St. George Croation Fraternal Union 354, Cokeburg.

Mrs. Slesh enjoyed coloring, crossword puzzles, word searches and embroidering. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her cat, Fat Boy.

On December 19, 1969, she married Frank Joseph Slesh, who died January 18, 2000.

Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Crothers of Eighty Four and Debra Brown (Joseph) of Scenery Hill; two stepsons, Richard Slesh (Lynne) of Portland, Ore., and Dennis Slesh (Shirley) of Washington; a stepdaughter, Sandra Gorby (Kenneth) of Washington; two sisters, Ardith Haranin of California and Annetta Dinardo of Ellsworth; 10 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are a stepdaughter, Sharon Bryner; a son, David Richards; two brothers, Clinton and William Lilley; and a sister, Naomi Getch.

Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, with the Rev. Francis Skariot officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Bentworth Senior Citizens, 208 Abromaitis Street, Bentleyville, PA 15314.
