Helen “Nunnie” Mandarano, 83, of Dilliner, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 4, 2018. For the past four years, Helen fought courageously and with dignity to overcome a progressive disease.

She was born November 3, 1934, in Morgantown, W.Va., a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Pollock Pompura.

Helen and her husband, Bruno, were self-employed. They were owners of a Gulf station and a restaurant in Dilliner for several years.

Helen loved music and dancing with her husband. She was an avid bowler. Holiday celebrations with family were always special for her. She also loved traveling to visit her children/grandchildren and vacations to the beach.

Left to cherish Helen’s memory are her loving husband of 64 years, Bruno; daughter Pamela Preskitt and husband Scott; daughter Caterina Jobson and husband Christopher; and son Bruno II and wife Jonida.

Helen had five grandchildren, Justin Tanner, Samuel Jobson, Kiriana Jobson, Chiara Mandarano and Enzo Mandarano, who were the light of her life. She doted on each of them.
