Joyce Ann Eastham McConn
Joyce Ann Eastham McConn, 65, of West Alexander, died Friday, April 13, 2018, in Donnell House.
She was born November 9, 1952, a daughter of the late John and Shirley Eastham. She was a 1970 graduate of Claysville High School.
Joyce was a dedicated wife of 45 years and loving mother and grandmother. Her true joy and passion was for her grandchildren. She spent many years working with her husband at Joyce’s Bait and Tackle and spending time on the family farm. Joyce loved to watch sports, especially the Steelers, Pirates and Penn State wrestling. She enjoyed traveling to the NCAA Nationals with her husband and her favorite thing to watch was when her grandchildren were playing.
She is survived by her husband, Tom McConn; children Tracey (Mark) Miller, Stephanie (Mark) Summers and Patrick (Julia) McConn; grandchildren Allison and Chely Miller, Tyler, Dylan and Caleb Summers and Nicoli McConn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Kathy Pettit, John and Harry Eastham.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 219 Main Street, Claysville, PA 15323, 724-663-7373, www.youngfhinc.com. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, in the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Donnell House, 10 Leet Street, Washington, PA 15301.
