Eleanor P. Pust, 93, of Nottingham Township, died unexpectedly Monday, April 16, 2018, in her home.
She was born February 8, 1925, in Bunola, a daughter of the late Bartolomero and Maria Carletti Pellegrino.
Eleanor was a graduate of Elizabeth High School. She was an animal lover, who especially liked taking in stray cats. She enjoyed spending time working in her vegetable and flower gardens. Her pride and joy was driving around in her red Corvette.
Surviving are two sons, Timothy and wife Elaine Pust of Fitzgerald, Ga., and Thomas and wife Joanne Pust of Bentleyville; five grandchildren, Jacob Pust, Leah Miller, Jesse Pust, Jena Cooper and Dustin Pust; seven great-grandchildren, Gavin, Gabriella, Jackson, Thadeous, Gabby, Tristen and Waylon; a brother, Steven Pellegrino of Pittsburgh; and a sister, Margaret Hutchko of Elizabeth.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Jacob Louis Pust, who died May 10, 2000; a son, James Pust, who died July 17, 1989; and a brother, Anthony Pellegrino.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 21, with the Rev. Mark Schollaert officiating. Interment will follow in Finleyville Cemetery.
