Lori Ann Kelsall Sparks
Lori Ann Kelsall Sparks, 52, died Monday, April 16, 2018, in Donnell House, Washington, following a long battle with cancer.
She was born August 3, 1965, a daughter of James V. Kelsall Jr. and Margaret J. Kelsall.
She was a 1983 graduate of McGuffey High School.
In July 1987, she married Robert “Tim” Sparks.
She worked at Eat’n Park on Oak Springs Road in Washington for more than 20 years. More recently, she was a security guard at Enlow Fork Mine from 2013 to 2016.
She loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, plastic canvas and listening to country music. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, Elena and Ava.
Surviving are her daughters, Megan (Tom) Hammond and Hollie (Josh) McCord; two grandchildren, Elena Margaret McCord and Ava Grace Hammond; four brothers, Thomas (Susan), Donald (Donna), Timothy and Michael Kelsall; nephews Donald James and Michael; niece Brittany; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Deceased are her husband, parents, grandparents, several aunts and uncles, an infant niece, Madison Kelsall, and her two favorite dogs, Weenie and Grunt.
Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m., the time of service, Thursday, April 19, in Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 219 Main Street, Claysville, PA 15323, 724-663-7373, www.youngfhinc.com. A dinner will follow in First Baptist Church, 317 Main Street, Claysville.
