Stanley J. Klick Jr.

Stanley J. Klick Jr., 84, of West Middlesex, formerly of Washington, passed away at 6 a.m. Sunday, April 15, 2018, in Countryside Convalescent Home, Mercer.

Mr. Klick was born January 25, 1934, in Washington, a son of Stanley and Mary Klick.

He was a 1952 graduate of Trinity High School and a Korean War veteran, serving with the U.S. Navy.

Stanley was Catholic. He was a devoted father and worked seven days a week most of his life to provide for his family. Prior to his retirement, Stanley was employed for more than 40 years at Washington Steel.

He was a member of United Steelworkers, Polish Club in Washington and the former Slovak Club in Washington.

Surviving are a daughter, Margaret McDonald of Arizona; a son, Stanley Klick IV and wife Rebecca of West Middlesex; five grandchildren, Jason White, Chad McDonald, Brian Clark Jr., Desiree Clark and Brianne Klick; and five great-grandsons, Jacob, Anthony and Benjamin White and Kaycen and Oliver McDonald.

Deceased are his wife, the former Nancy Johnson; his parents; a daughter, Cynthia Clark; and two sisters, Betty Pazinak and Ann Woodburn.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.

A memorial will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 21, in Union Grill, 13 East Wheeling Street, Washington, PA 15301. Burial will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township.
