Mari Bernosky

Mari Bernosky, 51, of Mt. Morris, died at 6:09 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2018, in her home, after a courageous battle with cancer, with her husband, Richard, by her side.

She was born Friday, May 6, 1966, in Chicago, Ill., a daughter of John Bernosky and Marilyn Pfautsch Bernosky.

She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Morgantown, W.Va.

She was a 1984 graduate of Waynesburg High School and a 1988 graduate of West Virginia University.

She was a member of 4-H, American Quarter Horse Association, Daybrook Saddle Club, International Barrel Racing Association and was a member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. She had a lifelong love of horses. She competed across several states in barrel racing and this was the inspiration for her business, Cowboys and Angels Western Apparel Store in Morgantown.

Her husband, Richard L. Bedillion, whom she married February 10, 2016, survives.

Also surviving are a sister, Helen Snyder and husband Tim; two brothers, John Bernosky and wife Christine and Daniel Bernosky and wife Beth; a niece, Janelle Bernosky and fiancé Matt Rahim; and three nephews, John Scott Bernosky, Codie Snyder and wife Faleesha and Jeremiah Snyder.

Deceased is a nephew, Lance Cpl. Josh Snyder.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, 324 Mt. Morris Road, P.O. Box 478, Mt. Morris, PA 15349, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, with Father Gary Naegle as celebrant. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris.

The family suggests memorials be made to American Cancer Society Pennsylvania Division Inc., Southwest Region, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205-4620.
