Joan Maxine DePaoli

Joan Maxine DePaoli, 86, of Washington, died Sunday, April 22, 2018, in Townview Health and Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg.

She was born April 5, 1932, in Washington, a daughter of the late Evan and Effie Hutchinson Morgan.

Mrs. DePaoli attended Washington schools and, while in high school, worked in food service at Washington Hospital.

She worked at Meadows Snack Bar for two years and as a hostess at Grande Restaurant in McMurray for two years.

Mrs. DePaoli enjoyed going to the casino, horse races, shopping, having lunch with her sister and spending time with family.

On October 27, 1950, she married William DePaoli, who died June 8, 1991.

Surviving are three sons, William (Brenda) DePaoli of Coal Center, Dirk (Lisa) DePaoli of Washington and Randy (Melanie) DePaoli of Seattle, Wash.; two daughters, Cathi (Tony) Zenner of Washington, with whom she resided, and Donna (the late John) McKay of Hollywood, Fla.; brother Lawrence (Kay) Morgan of Washington; sister Barbara J. (Dan) Gagich of Washington; grandchildren Brandie, B.J., Ryan, Jessica, Toni Marie, Hope, Justin, Josh and Amanda; great-grandchildren Devin, Lisi, Ryan, Ava, Victoria, Charlotte, Sofia and Nora; sister-in-law Ronnie Morgan; and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased are brothers Evan, John, Richard, Harry “Hezzie” and Bill Morgan; and sisters Rachel Kinkel, Gertrude Taylor, Margaret Richmond and Mary Ann Guido.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 26. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
