Gary Nathan Parker

Gary Nathan Parker, 69, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018, in the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Aspinwall.

He was born September 24, 1948, in Washington, a son of the late James Franklin Parker and Geraldine Wade Parker.

Mr. Parker was a graduate of Washington High School.

Gary enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and playing pool. He also enjoyed cutting hair and enrolled in Allstate Barber School in Cleveland, Ohio. While in barber school, he was drafted into the U.S. Army.

Surviving are a brother, Jay Parker of Washington; sister Diana Parker James of Cleveland; aunt Norma Jean Wade of Washington; niece Lesley Ashford of Ohio; great-niece Lauren Ashford of Ohio; great-nephew Perez Ashford Jr. of Ohio; and five cousins, Eric Wade of Colorado, Angela Wade Bacon of Nebraska, Linda Wade of Texas, Phyllis Wade Jackson of Texas and Deborah Metoyer of Michigan.

Deceased is a cousin, Kenneth Wade Jr.

Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m., the time of services, Saturday, May 5, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
