Brian K. Rohanna
Brian K. Rohanna, 62, of Wheeling, W.Va., formerly of Waynesburg, died Thursday, April 26, 2018, in Wheeling Hospital.
He was born March 3, 1956, in Waynesburg, a son of the late Isaac P. and Olline Griffon Rohanna.
Brian was a graduate of Waynesburg Central High School, Class of 1974, and of Penn Commercial in Pittsburgh.
He was Catholic and a member of Waynesburg Moose Lodge 461.
Brian was an avid golfer. If he was nowhere to be found, he was more than likely on a golf course. Golfing was his passion. To many friends, he was known as BR. Brian loved his family more than anything.
His nieces and nephew meant the world to him, Shari (Scot) Morris of Peninsula, Ohio, Jodi (Ron) Boosel of Waynesburg, Lari Ann Pawlosky (Cesar) of Waynesburg and Jeffrey Pawlosky of Waynesburg. Also surviving are his great-nieces and nephews, Kaylee Boosel, Braden Boosel, Alyssa Germano, McKade Morris and Phoenix Pawlosky.
Also surviving are stepmother Margaret Cullen Rohanna of Woodbine, N.J.; sister, Nancy Pawlosky (Bill Kennedy) of Idaho Falls, Idaho; stepsisters Patty (Paul) Cannoe of Woodbine and Betty (Rick) Mamenko of Woodbine; longtime companion, Liz Ruble of Ohio; and a stepdaughter, Ashley Springer of Eighty Four.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are a brother, Griffon Keith Rohanna, who died in infancy; grandparents Andrew and Gemelia Rohanna and Oscar and Nancy Griffon; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m., the time of a blessing service, Thursday, May 3, in Behm Funeral Home, 182 West High Street, Waynesburg, PA, 15370, with Father J. Francis Frazer officiating. Final interment will be Monday, May 7, in St. Ann Cemetery, Waynesburg.
