Mary Jane “Janie” Baker Stover, 75, of Langeloth, passed away Thursday morning, August 2, 2018.

She was born March 11, 1943, in Georgetown, a daughter of the late John R. and Ruth I. Reed Baker.

A graduate of South Side Beaver High School, she worked for several businesses in the Burgettstown area, prior to owning TJ’s Cards & News on Main Street for seven years.

Her husband, Michael “Tommy” Stover, whom she married June 10, 1961, passed away February 5, 2008.

Mrs. Stover enjoyed crocheting, reading and spending time with family.

She is survived by three sons, Michael T. Stover Jr. and Jeffery A. Stover Sr. and wife Rhonda, both of Langeloth, and John A. Stover Sr. and wife Amey of Burgettstown; eight grandchildren, Michael, John Paul, Ashley, Jeffery, Breanna, John Allen, Shane and Kelsey; five great-grandchildren, Brooke, Wyatt, Colt, Makayla and Mark; four sisters, Virginia Bailey and husband Richard of Mingo Junction, Ohio, Elsie Green and husband David of Fort Mill, S.C., Evelyn Walls and husband William of Burgettstown and Barbara Slopek and husband Bob of Langeloth; two brothers, John R. Baker and wife Shirley of Burgettstown and Kenneth Baker and wife Toni of Langeloth; a brother-in-law, Albert Maximovich of McDonald; and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, is a sister, Olive Marie “Tootsie” Maximovich.

Friends will be received from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday in Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 4, with the Rev. Jodi Flack officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Florence.
