Richard Tustin

Richard “Dick” Tustin, 73, of Hickory, died Friday, August 3, 2018, in Washington Hospital.

He was born December 26, 1944, in Washington, a son of the late Reuben Carl and Ruth Barney Tustin.

A graduate of Fort Cherry High School, he was a member of Chartiers Crossroads Church.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.

Mr. Tustin worked for 35 years as a truck driver for Joy Manufacturing.

Dick enjoyed restoring old cars, landscaping and was a motorcycle enthusiast.

On November 18, 1967, he married Nancy Ermacoff, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Richard J. Tustin of Hickory; two brothers, William (Sandy) Tustin of Hickory and Ronald (Susan) Tustin of Scottdale, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the time of service, Tuesday, August 7, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Burial will follow in Upper Buffalo Church Cemetery.
