Eileen M. Boothe
Eileen M. Boothe, 75, of Ellsworth, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018, in her home.
She was born December 4, 1942, in Lock 4, a daughter of the late John and Evelyn Patterson Leonard.
A homemaker, Mrs. Boothe was a 1962 graduate of Bentleyville High School.
She was a longtime member of River of Life Christian Fellowship Church, Bentleyville, and enjoyed participating in Mrs. Claus Club.
Eileen relished her time with her children and grandchildren and especially enjoyed attending all of their sporting events and other activities. The time spent at their cabin in Elk County brought her special enjoyment.
On July 2, 1966, she married Robert A. Boothe Sr., who survives. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows in Ten Mile Park, with family and a large number of friends attending. The celebration was officiated by Pastor Paul Mitchell, the same minister who officiated at their marriage.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two children, Dawn Sape (Johnathan) of Richeyville and Rob Boothe (Toni) of Fredericktown; four grandchildren, Johnathan and Ryann Sape and Ella and Ford Boothe; brother Jack Leonard (Arlene) of Roaring Springs; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are two grandchildren, Christopher and Shenille Stuyvesant, and a sister, Sharon Wallo.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and until 1 p.m., the time of service, Thursday, August 9, in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd., 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, with Pastor Paul Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
