Richard F. Wilson

Richard F. “Poozle” Wilson, 78, of Washington, died Monday, August 6, 2018, in Donnell House, Washington.

He was born July 18, 1940, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Richard F. and Helen Paraska Moulden.

He was a 1958 graduate of Washington High School and went on to study to be an X-ray technologist at University of Pittsburgh, also studying metallurgy.

He worked as a delivery driver for Frank’s Auto Supermarket in Washington.

He was a spiritual man and loved animals. He was one of the original members of the Skyliners vocal group and played bass.

Surviving are three daughters, Rashell (Darrin Willoughby) Wilson of Joppa, Md., Kim Russo of Washington and Sherri (Scott) Daumit of Natrona Heights; a sister, Donna Mersky of Washington; three grandsons, Scott Daumit II and Marc and Zachary Montecalvo; and many cousins.

Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, August 10. All other services will be private.
