Dorothy A. Lenhart Hess
Dorothy A. Lenhart Hess of Whitaker passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018, with family by her side.
She was a daughter of the late John and Anna Lenart; beloved wife of the late Ronald Hess; and loving mother of Jack (Lisa) and their son, Ian, of North Strabane, David “Sloan” (Edina) and their children, Sarah, Dave, Tim (Jena) and Joe, of West Mifflin, Jim (Karen) and their sons, Shane and Jonathan, of West Mifflin, Ron “Bones” (Mary) and their children, Tiffani and Zach, of Whitaker and daughter Lisa (Bob) DiDomenico and son Tony Kostelnik of Whitaker.
Also surviving are great-grandson Austin and great-granddaughters McKenzie and Emily. She was a sister of the late Anna Estok, George and Joe Lenart, Marge Stefanik and Helen Mattis, and sister-in-law of John (Becky) Hess, Tom (the late Olga) Hess and Bob (Millie) Hess.
Dorothy and her husband owned Hess’s Bar in Whitaker.
Her love for her faith and dedication to her family will be cherished forever.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, August 10, in Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home Inc., 3501 Main Street, Munhall. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 11, in St. Rita Church, Munhall.
