Linda M. Swan, 69, of Waynesburg, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018, in Washington Hospital.

She was born September 28, 1948, in Clarksville, a daughter of the late William R. and Mary V. Geho Swan.

Linda was a 1966 graduate of Waynesburg High School

She retired from Walmart. She worked in the Washington store as a fitting room clerk and later transferred to the Waynesburg store.

Linda was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Waynesburg.

She enjoyed crafts and sewing. Many of her creations were sold at the White Covered Bridge Festival. She loved making gifts for her nieces and nephews.

Surviving are a brother, R. Edward Swan (Kim) of Waynesburg; a sister, Judy Bedilion (Randy) of Waynesburg; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John William Swan, who died in infancy.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 16, in Hewitt Cemetery, Rices Landing, with Pastor David Woods officiating.
