Homer Conrad Craig, 87, of Washington, peacefully passed away Monday, August 13, 2018.

He was a beloved son of the late John Stanley Craig and Laura Adams.

Homer leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife, Shirley Jean Cox Craig, along with his dear children, Melanie Jo Van Riper (late Craig), Stacey Lynn Frankovich (Bill), Lori Sue Moninger (Tim) and Gordon Conrad Craig (Susie); brother James Lester Craig; 10 grandchildren, Celina Jo Van Riper, Amanda Jo Bland, George Suhon, Richard Suhon, Christina Jamison, Andrew Suhon, Tim Moninger Jr., Michael Moninger, Garett Craig and Connor Craig; and four great-grandchildren, Julianne and Tyler Moninger, Paige and Eden Suhon.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents; six brothers, John, Frank, Clark, Louis, Raymond and George Paul; sister Virginia Craig; and his infant son.

He was a member of American Legion Post 175 and served in the U.S. Navy from 1950 to 1954. He married the love of his life December 20, 1954. Homer worked at Black Top Paving for 35 years. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, shooting pool and spending many hours on his porch, no matter the weather conditions, and in his garden. He will be greatly missed by his family.

The family will be holding a private celebration in his honor. Funeral arrangements were handled by All Counties Cremation Services, 164 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, PA 15317, 724-705-4580.
