Richard Alan “Dick” Berardinelli, 69, of Cokeburg, died Wednesday, August 29, 2018, in the Greenery Center, Canonsburg.

He was born July 19, 1949, in Cokeburg, a son of Josephine Pelan Berardinelli of Washington and the late Dick Berardinelli.

He was a 1971 graduate of California College.

A minister for many years, he also operated Berardinelli’s Grocery in Cokeburg with his parents for many years. He was a pastor for Lower Ten Mile Presbyterian Church from 1999 to 2015, where he especially enjoyed the children’s message and Bible study group.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Theresa Ireland Berardinelli; a daughter, Amber (Bill) Warfield of Maryland; two grandchildren, Dylan and Jordan; two sisters, Deborah (Colin) Dixon of San Antonio, Texas, and Cynthia (Gaetano) Garlisi of Washington; and a brother, Joseph (Michelle) Berardinelli of Mobile, Ala.

Family and friends will be received from 3 to 6 p.m., the time of service, Friday, August 31, in Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, with Pastor Linda Mankey officiating.
