James Edward Stollar

James Edward Stollar, 86, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018.

He was born in Claysville and was a member of Enon Baptist Church, West Finley.

Mr. Stollar was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean conflict.

He enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing and NASCAR.

James was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Amos, and a stepson, Joseph Durbin.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Boncil “Cindy”; daughters Jolene Bass and Cheryl Wunderle; sons Michael and Richard Stollar; stepdaughter Linda (Mark) Snyder; sister Waneta Wright; numerous nieces and nephews; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services were held Tuesday, November 27, in Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 South Main Street, Akron, Ohio 44301, with Pastor Jerry Butcher officiating. Interment was in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, Ohio.
