Ronald Quincy Evans

Ronald Quincy Evans, 73, of Wheeling, W.Va., died Saturday, December 1, 2018, in Wheeling Hospital.

He was born September 5, 1945, in Washington, a son of the late Kenneth and Delores Felton Evans.

Mr. Evans was a truck driver for Allied Van Lines and Central Van and Storage.

A licensed mechanic, he enjoyed tinkering with cars, fishing, camping, traveling, going to the casino and his dog, Bootsie. His favorite pastime was spending time with family.

On October 14, 1977, he married Debra Houston, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Ronald Evans of Washington and Donald (Jaime) Evans of Burgettstown; a daughter, Veronica (James) Jones of Wheeling; a brother, Kenneth (Linda) Evans of Washington; two sisters, Ada (Gary) Miller of Alvarado, Texas, and Carol (Richard) Lawrence of Washington; 12 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a daughter, Rona Wayman, and a granddaughter, Krystal Wayman.

Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m., the time of service, Friday, December 7, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
