James Arnold Linderman, 74, a resident of Lasosky’s Personal Care Home in Clarksville, passed away peacefully Monday, December 3, 2018, with family and loving caregivers by his side and his girl, granddaughter Danielle, holding his hand.

Jim was born February 10, 1944, in Royal, to Arnold and Moyola McManus Linderman.

He worked many jobs, but his main love was playing music professionally with The Country Movers in many area venues and across the country and Canada. He later was a popular and loved bartender at Molnar’s on Route 51, until illness forced him to retire from both bartending and performing.

Besides his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Forrest Salva, and his brother-in-law, Duane Wright.

Jimbo is survived by his loving wife, Dollie Crawford Linderman; his children and stepchildren, in birth order because Jim loved each one of them for themselves: Jarrett O. Crawford and wife Christie, Mildred Salva, James R. Linderman and wife Ilene and Amy Linderman-Arison (John); his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Jarrett O. Crawford and wife Jenn (Abigail, Benjamin, Sarah and Finn), Wendy Debnar and husband Jason (Tyler and Jaslyn), Robert Crawford and wife Mia (Kristina, Tristan and Charlotte), Amy Salva-Feevey and husband Joel, Tarrah Linderman-Pritts and husband Bill (Tyler, Troy and Tori Ciarimboli), Coty, Danielle Marie Salva, Shawn Linderman and Noah Arison; his loving sister, Gaye Wright; many loving nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces; loving friends; and his family of caregivers at Lasosky’s Personal Care Home and OSPTA Hospice Care. He loved them all!

Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and until 10 a.m., the time of service, Thursday, December 6, in Novak Funeral Home, 515 Front Street, Brownsville. Entombment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jim’s name to Unity, A Journey of Hope at 239 Town Country Road, Vanderbilt, PA 15486.

Lasosky’s Personal Care Home did much for Jimbo and OSPTA cared for and loved him.
