Thomas Joseph Hofrichter
Thomas Joseph Hofrichter, 86, of Mooresville, N.C., formerly of Avella, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018, in his home.
He was born January 10, 1932, in Beadling, to the late Thomas Anthony Hofrichter and Rose Smith Hofrichter.
He was a heavy equipment operator in coal mining, before his retirement.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Evelyn Kristoff Hofrichter; children Thomas Hofrichter, Amy Williamson and Timothy Hofrichter and wife Nancy; grandchildren Aaron (Meganne) Hofrichter, Andrea (Mike) Young, Joshua (Robin) Hofrichter and Jillian (Jeremy) Klezia; great-grandchildren Kaila, Tyler and Addison Hofrichter, Michael and Mya Young, Matthew and Nathan Hofrichter and Reid, Evan and Leanna Klezia; sisters Therese (Robert) Delphus, Jean (Ralph) Graeser and Joan (Cecil) Hurst; and brothers Fred (Beverly) and Bill (Bernadette) Hofrichter.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are four sisters, Margaret (Paul) Shine, Sally (Dan) Quinn, Delores (Alex) McKinin and twin sister Thelma Brune, and a brother, Jack (Irmgard) Hofrichter.
A memorial service will be held at later date in Avella. Cavin-Cook Funeral Home and Crematory, Mooresville, is serving the Hofrichter family.
