Mildred Moran

Mildred “Millie” Moran, 88, of Charleroi, formerly of Bethel Park, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018, in her home.

She was born May 24, 1930, in Cokeburg, a daughter of the late Michael and Ann B. Zorich Rebich.

Mrs. Moran was a 1948 graduate of Ellsworth High School and furthered her education by attending business school.

For many years, Millie owned and operated First Financial Services, a finance company, with several offices in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. She went on to become the senior vice president of Landmark Savings in Pittsburgh, where she was the head of Human Resources, retiring in 1990.

Mrs. Moran was a lover of the arts and enjoyed reading, politics and oil painting.

Surviving are two daughters, Tracey Thomas of Los Angeles, Calif., and Sue Moran (Rodney Ambrogi) of Charleroi; three grandchildren, Michael Manson, Rachel Bucci and Monica Crouch (Jeremy); a great-grandson, Anthony Banks; and two sisters, Joan Hott of Cokeburg and Evelyn Bullick (Daniel) of Denver, Colo.

Deceased is her husband, George Moran.

A public committal service will be held at noon Saturday, December 8, in Forest Lawn Gardens Chapel, 3739 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, with Pastor George Lammay officiating.
