Alice Heyman, 71, of Washington, died Thursday, December 6, 2018, in her home.

She was born September 15, 1947, in Rural Gallegos, N.M., part of the Navajo Nation, a daughter of the late Victor and Doris Starrett.

Alice was a registered nurse.

She married John G. Heyman, who died January 1, 2018.

Surviving are five daughters, Rolanda Charlie of Washington, Sonnie Heyman of Washington, Sonronda Heyman of Pittsburgh, Sabrina Heyman of Washington and Marcie Starrett of New Mexico; four siblings, Beth (the late Jeff) Caldwell, Barbara Starrett, Loretta Boyd and Buzz Starrett; 15 grandchildren, Jon Heyman, Ashley Fields, Robert Fields, Kevin Heyman, Karon Adams, Olivia Heyman, Asia Heyman, Tevin Heyman, Ricky Lassic, Tamara Heyman, Rodnea Long, Ericka Johnson, Savanna Lassic, Devontae Johnson and Shamar Johnson; and several great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 10, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
