Anna Mae Harding, 87, of Avella, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018, in her home surrounded by family.

She was born October 4, 1931, in Washington, a daughter of the late John and Susie Boscak Suhon.

Ms. Harding attended Avella High School and was a member of Bert C. Siders American Legion Post 643 Ladies Auxiliary and a former member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, both of Avella.

Anna Mae was a hardworking mother of three. She enjoyed going to bingo, cooking for her family and doing word search puzzles.

She was a lifelong resident of Avella.

Surviving are a son, John D. Harding and wife Alida, and two daughters, Debra S. Moore and Denise Stough, her caregiver for the past three years, all of Avella; and several nieces and nephews.

She also leaves her beloved pets, Oreo and Lexi.

She was the last of her immediate family. Deceased, in addition to her parents, are two brothers, John Jr. and George Suhon; a sister, Margaret Gagliani; and a sister who died in infancy.

Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Jerome A. Stefkovich Funeral Home Inc., 18 Campbell Street, Avella, PA 15312, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 13, with Father Harry Bielewicz officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Avella.
