Bernadine Lesnik
Bernadine Lesnik, 98, of Canonsburg, died Monday, December 10, 2018.
She was born April 20, 1920, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Anthony and Anna Perkowski Kolaczynski.
She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Canonsburg.
Prior to her retirement, she worked at Jim’s Superette, and later as a manager at Health Mart in Canonsburg.
Surviving are her sons, Raymond “George” (Eileen) Gouirand of McDonald, Anthony (Susan) Lesnik III of Imperial and Robert (Susan) Lesnik of Elizabethtown; daughters Beverly Crothers of Houston, Bernadine (Philip) Carney of Fairfield, Calif.; grandchildren Raymond (Amy) Crothers, Justin (Lindsey) Crothers, Alyson Chittister, Amy (Patrick) Oberly, Daryl (Jen) Lesnik, Hilary Lesnik, Wendy Lesnik, Amanda Carney, Kaitlyn Carney, Wyatt Carney, Courtney Lesnik and Bobby Lesnik; great-grandchildren Luke, Claire, Levi and Elliot; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, deceased is her first husband, Raymond Gouirand. Later, she married Anthony Lesnik, who died April 5, 2011. Also preceding her in death were her brothers, Louis, Edward, Frank and Harry Kolaczynski, and her grandson, Don Crothers.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, J. David Sollon, director, 724-746-1000.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 13, in the funeral home, followed by Interment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township.
